Beards were so important that a common form of supplication required one to touch the beard of the person being addressed. Agamemnon, Ajax, Menelaus, Ulysses: all of the ancient Homeric heroes of legend wore thick, free-flowing beards.
Following in this proud and ancient tradition, the aristocracy of ancient Rome learned from their Etruscan forebears to never allow a razor near their beards. Instead, they anointed these proud manes with oil pressed from the finest olives mixed with wild-gathered honeycomb, all fragranced with the finest frankincense, cedarwood, and other botanicals that trade with the Holy Land had to offer.

Designed to penetrate tough beard-hairs, Colannino's Sicilian® Roman Beard® Wax prevents split and flyaway hairs while providing a healthy-looking shine and a gentle hold worthy of the heroes of old!
To use: 1) Clean and comb beard. 2) Remove a small amount of Colannino's Sicilian® Roman Beard® Wax from tin and rub between palms. 3) Gently smooth into slightly damp beard, especially at the beard's end. 4) Shape beard as desired. 5) Marvel at the glory that is your well-conditioned beard!
